Members were given a guided tour of the new diagnostic and treatment centre at Kidderminster Hospital by David Evans, project manager, who has been appointed to run the centre when it opens in December.
He explained that the new centre will provide cutting edge technology, not only for Wyre Forest patients, but for those throughout Worcestershire.
The centre will be one of around 50 in this country.
The next meeting is at The Cock and Magpie, on November 5, starting at 8pm.
