Oldbury Park Tigers U-10 0, Evesham Utd 1
UNITED progressed into the quarter-finals of the Mercian League Cup, but they were made to fight all the way.
The first half saw them exert a lot of pressure with Henry Woods coming close on two occasions, while Louis Brown headed over a James Bearcroft cross.
United had goalkeeper Leon Ballard to thank when he thwarted a rare Oldbury attack with his defence in tatters.
Changes in formation at half-time proved fruitful when Bearcroft converted a penalty for handball. Dan Francis was then unlucky not to make it 2-0 when his flick on from Ford's cross went inches over.
