ATTACKING midfielder Dean Spragg is hoping to boost his chances of making a career for himself in the sport.

The 16-year-old King Charles I High School pupil is currently in trials for Worcestershire U-19s and England U-18s.

Spragg plays for Cradley Town in the West Midlands Youth League and also for Brintons on Sundays in the Kidderminster and District League.

The Manchester United fan has been at St Johns Tigers and Worcester City in the past.

Mother Marie said: "He would love to play for a big club and has written to several but nothing has come from it yet."

Spragg has made it through to the second round of trials.
