The Cork-born defender showed promise at Kidderminster during a 2002/03 loan spell where he played 15 Division Three games.
It was well timed for Coleman as he was released from Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of the campaign after being confined to reserve and youth-team football.
Harriers boss Ian Britton challenged Coleman, who had figured mainly in a three-man defence, to show better fitness and hunger for the game in pre-season.
He did just that and looked impressive after being switched to a right wing-back role where he looked quick, skillful and put in promising crosses.
A one-year contract was Coleman's reward and he will hope to have put a stomach injury from last season behind him.
League appearances/goals: Harriers (02/03) 15.
This season: 9 games.
Status: Substitute.
Average Shuttle rating: 6.3 (1 star man award)
