VOLLEYBALL: Skipper Amanda Price needed a tow to Cleobury Mortimer's West Midlands League Division Two visit to Telford after breaking down on the motorway.
Price, who had the team's kit, arrived late as Cleobury, with several players unavailable anyway, eventually dropped to a poor 3-0 defeat against their rivals.
Kerry Little, Cleobury's new setter, was player-of-the-match, placing the ball for Julie White to hammer over the net.
But Telford won through 25-13, 25-18, 25-15, despite strong defence from Robyn Slingsby, good serving by Louise Rochell, the blocking of Tina Bate and Ellie White's experience.
