ROWING: Stourport Boat Club were disappointed to bag only seven wins at the Worcester Autumn Head with no competition in many statuses.
But the juniors were again out in force with fine wins for Jess Danby in the girls' J15 singles and Dan Brighton in the boys' J15 singles.
In the successful doubles, Becky Saunders combined with Stacey Gwilliam and Rupert Conway joined Ashley Price.
The seniors were well represented to give the lingering Stourport fans something to cheer about at the awards ceremony.
Duncan Gwilliam won the veteran C singles, Tom Edwards the veteran F singles and Jackie Phillips the women's senior three singles.
Of the many "time only" entries, the elite quad of Don Taylor, Tom Edwards, Richard Lloyd and Stuart Barnet deserve credit for their excellent age-to-points ratio.
