I AM sick of the saga of Wyre Piddle residents and the bypass, they have got what they wanted.
When is something going to be done about the volume of traffic, and the type of traffic which daily besieges Pershore.
I live in the High Street and the movement of lorries starts as early as 5.30am and goes on all day until as late as 10pm or 11pm. Many of these lorries are attached to local companies and so must know there are alternate routes available, but Pershore seems the favoured one.
Yesterday it took me at least five minutes to travel from one end of town to the other, with delivery vans parked each side of the street and large lorries coming through town.
The volume of traffic must have trebled over the last few years so when is something going to happen to save historic Pershore from this menace.
MRS P SMITH, High Street, Pershore.
