A CHARITABLE Worcestershire worker is taking up the challenge of driving a Land Rover blindfolded to raise funds for a blind charity.

Sabrina McLaughlin, a branch administrator at Adecco in St Nicholas Street, Worcester, will drive blindfolded around an obstacle course at the event on Sunday, in Marlborough, near Swindon, to raise funds for the city's Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) College on Whittington Road.

Sabrina, aged 24, will be joined by Jamie Barnfield, aged 28, a temps consultant at the Tewkesbury branch of Adecco for the event, organised by the RNIB.

The duo will first go around the course with an instructor driving before swapping over and driving blindfolded with the instructor in

the car.

They hope to raise more than £500 for the college through sponsorship.

"I just thought it was a good challenge and I'm really looking forward to it," said Sabrina.

"It's quite scary because I don't know exactly what to expect - we might end up with no car left!"

Anyone wanting to sponsor the duo can contact Worcester Adecco on 01905 732790.
