WORCESTER City will have to wait until April to hear the outcome of a public enquiry into the club's proposed Nunnery Way stadium.
The St George's Lane club had been hoping for a December or February date to hear the recommendation of independent planning inspector Clive Richardson.
But City's company secretary, Brian Lancaster, has revealed there is likely to be a six-week delay.
"We've been advised it is likely to come out in early April which, while understandable, is frustrating," Mr Lancaster said.
Mr Richardson chaired the four-day inquiry in May which the club hopes will give the green light to adopt the new ground at Nunnery Way as part of the city council's Local Plan.
A planning inquiry in 1995 earmarked land at Nunnery Way for a new football ground, but the need for large retail units, such as B&Q, to fund the 6,000-seater stadium has proved controversial.
Those for and against the stadium presented their cases at the public inquiry in May this year.
