A REDDITCH residents' association is gearing itself up to protest against the development corporation's plan to knock down the Abbey High School.
The Abbeydale residents' Association is planning a public meeting at the Abbeydale Club in Gibbs Road next Tuesday.
The corporation wants to knock down the Abbey High and rebuild a replacement school on Church Hill to make way for the final part of the town centre ring road.
When the plan was originally announced, a protest petition containing 3,000 signatures was collected and the corporation delayed a final decision.
