A BURNER manufactured by a Worcestershire company is helping to maintain traditional brewing practices.
Nu-way, in Droitwich, has supplied one of its high/low burners to Omec Engineering, in Sherburn, Elmet, North Yorkshire, to fit into a new model of a traditional cast iron barley roaster.
One of the company's high/low NGN15TIS150 gas burners has been installed in the new barley roaster, which has been manufactured for Thomas Fawcett & Sons in Castleford, who roast barley and malt for brewing.
Thomas Fawcett & Sons has specified Nu-way burners for its roasters since 1930.
