AS a symbol of support for the Prince's Trust, Redditch MP Jacqui Smith dropped in to two businesses recently to see how they have fared since gaining a boost from the trust.
Ms Smith visited The Ditch Recording Studios in Millsborough House, Smallwood, and Tina's Blooms in Poplar Road, Batchley.
Both were given a helping hand from the trust to get up and running and are now proving successful.
Ms Smith, who is Government minister for industry and the regions, said: "After seeing the good work the Prince's Trust has done in supporting The Ditch and Tina's Blooms, I hope more young people will come forward for the advice and support on offer."
The trust offers start-up grants as well as training for young people, specialising in help for those who missed out on school or find it hard to get work.
Ms Smith added: "I hope the young people of Redditch check out what's on offer - it could change their lives."
