PUPILS have been showing their musical mettle and demonstrating how to 'steel' a show after the arrival of some new equipment.
Trinity High School, in Easemore Road, has bought some steel pans after pupils decided they wanted to learn how to play them.
And they've gone down a storm at assemblies and open evenings and even teachers are now keen to have a go.
Head of music Charlotte Payne said: "We already have a very wide variety of music groups in the school and this is a welcome addition.
"The students are learning quickly and enjoy it very much. They are always eager to perform."
