TWO Bromsgrove School teams were successful at the Rectory Park Cross County races.
Six teams from the Worcester Road school entered the annual prestigious competition near Sutton Coldield for the first time on Thursday, October 9.
The U14s boys team of Ben Newton, Steven Blassberg, Ryan Cleary and Sam Harding became the first Bromsgrove School team to win the event. Harding also recorded the fastest leg of the day.
The U11s boys B squad also won their section while the U11s boys A team missed out on first place by four points. Third place went to the U11s girls, the U15 girls came second and the U16s boys were sixth.
