IMAGINE a world with no emotion - in fact, any feelings are punishable by death and anything which might provoke emotions like books, music, art, even animals are all destroyed.

Your feelings are eradicated by taking a double daily dose of Prozium - a numbing drug which turns the average Joe Bloggs into a robot- like citizen.

One good thing has come from this futuristic world - all war has ended - thanks to the drug and clerics who enforce the law.

But cleric John Preston, played by Christian Bale, misses a dose of his Prozium and regains his feelings and begins the fight to bring down his emotionless world.

The only problem is his scheming new cleric partner, played by Taye Diggs, does his best to stop him.

There's not as much action in this as you might think but what there is, is top class and is just what you'd expect from the makers of Minority Report and Speed.

Try and spot a cameo appearance from Brian "it's a puppet" Connelly, who it seems, has made his break into Hollywood even if all he does is get thrown through a fake wall in the movie.

And Sean Bean also plays a small part as Bale's former partner.
