SOMETIMES, a film comes along which leaves you with more questions than answers. This is one of them.

Questions like: How did this insipid shambles of a movie ever get made? Why did it not go straight to video?

Sadly, only a few sad misguided souls know the answers and, quite frankly, shame on them.

The premise is promising. A group of teenagers are stranded in a cabin fighting an unknown horror - in this case, a flesh-eating virus.

Anyone who has seen the brilliant 28 Days Later will know how this can work and actually be quite terrifying.

But this fails miserably on so many levels, it's hard to know where to begin.

Random characters seem to be thrown in to give a quirky, David Lynch-style atmosphere but just end up being stupid and pointless.

The acting from all involved is just dreadful. By the time the virus hits, you really couldn't care who lives or dies.

In fact, you wish the disease would take hold a little bit quicker so we could all go home and watch a decent horror film.

But the worst sin of all is it's just not scary. At all. There is no suspense, no chills and the feeble attempts at gore are just ridiculous.

Don't believe the hype. This is poor. Please, please don't see it - it will be a tenner and two hours of your life you will never get back.
