QUIZZICAL youngsters from Wychbold First and Nursery School put their local Member of Parliament, Peter Luff in the spotlight on Monday morning.
Pupils at the School Road establishment were spellbound this week when the Mid Worcestershire MP taught them the importance of voting and the duties of a local MP.
He also toured the school with headteacher, Eleanor Sinton and was impressed with what it had achieved in the last 12 months.
The school has been slammed by education watchdogs, Ofsted. But since the inspectors' report, staff have managed to dig the school out of the special measures status Ofsted slapped it on.
Headteacher, Eleanor Sinton said: "Mr Luff was greatly impressed with the services offered to parents. These include the newly extended nursery and after school club.
"The children also had the chance to learn more about the role of an MP."
