I SEE we have another bleating moaner who claims that he/she should not be fined after breaking the speed limit.
S Clark (You Say, Monday, October 6) states that only real car criminals should be caught. Don't you think you're a car criminal for speeding on City Walls Road even if it's a couple of mph over 30?
S Clark states that he/she was caught twice. Surely after being caught once you would have had the brains not to get caught again?
It is similar to saying that you are only a percentage point over the drink-drive limit - would you also regard those people also as being law-abiding motorists? I think not.
I regularly drive along City Walls Road and have no problem keeping to 30 mph, so why can't you? If you are a decent driver you should know what speed you are doing without looking at the speedometer.
Perhaps S Clark, you need another driving test. The old saying comes to mind - "you do the crime, you pay the fine".
