DEAR EDITOR - In regard to the three councillors who were suspended for suggesting the public should have a say on the future of Bromsgrove Rovers Football Ground.
Councillor Dennis Norton surely must know that elected district councillors represent the wishes, on a democratic basis, of the people of the wards they represent. By saying that the public should have a say, these three councillors are doing the job they were elected to do.
It seems that we have a dictator as leader of the Bromsgrove District Council, who penalises anyone who dares to oppose his views.
History tells us that dictators are arrogant, ambitious, deceptive and dangerous and tread on anyone who gets in their way or questions their decisions.
I think that everyone is better off without a dictator as a leader.
