TWO first half goals from Sarah Lewis saw Fairfield Villa Ladies return to winning ways with a 2-0 victory at Hereford.
Villa, defeated 6-1 at home by Headless Cross last week, were ahead after two minutes when Lewis latched on to a through ball and beat two players before striking home from 18 yards.
Lewis bagged her second on 35 minutes. Chasing down a seemingly lost cause, she robbed a Hereford defender of the ball and raced towards goal, sliding the ball past the goalkeeper
She later missed her hat-trick when her shot beat the goalkeeper and hit the post.
Player of the match Shez Donnelly.
