A THOUGHTLESS firework attack could have caused serious damage when it was put through the letterbox of an estate agent in Redditch town centre.
Luckily, the firework, which was placed through the letterbox of Oulsnam estate agents in Church Green East, hit an outdoor sign placed behind the door for the night.
The incident, which happened at about 8.50pm on Sunday, caused minor damage but office manager Margaret Hunt, who was called to the office to find it smokelogged, said: "It could have been a lot worse but luckily the sign was blocking the door."
