Llandrindod Ladies 2
Tenbury Ladies 10
ALTHOUGH Tenbury could only field nine players for their KBS League match they produced an outstanding performance to hit the target 10 times with Abi Thomas leading with four goals.
Llandrindod's youngsters open-ed strongly and took the lead with a great drive and a finish to give Tenbury's stand-in goalkeeper Jo Turvey no chance.
Tenbury levelled when Thomas bagged her first goal and then went on to complete a first-half hat-trick when she converted two penalty corners. Emma Millhouse scored a superb individual goal and Lottie Morgan made it six just before the break.
In the second half Tina Bickley extended their lead, but a tiring Llandrindod did not give up and gallantly pulled a goal back.
However Tenbury were in no mood to let up and they piled on the pressure with further goals from Thomas, Bickley and Millhouse.
