LEGENDS of rock and roll and British rhythm and blues will feature during a packed week of arts at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall.
Tonight (Friday), at 8pm, The Jets and Maria Vincent and the Millionaires will feature in a night of rock and roll. Tickets cost £11, concs £9.
On Wednesday (October 15), Long John Baldry and Mungo Jerry will in a concert of British Legends of Rhythm and Blues. Tickets for the show, at 8pm, cost £16.50.
Sandwiched between the two concerts will be folk band the Bushburys, who appear tomorrow (Saturday). Tickets are £10, concs £9.
The Rosamund Trio will be playing classic pieces at 3pm on Sunday, when admission costs £15, concs £12. They will be followed by an Institute of Physics Lecture on the sounds of music at 7.30pm on Tuesday (October 14). Admission is £2.
Thursday (October 16) sees a celebration of Cecil Sharp's work. Sharp, founder of the English Folk Song Society, will be honoured by Ashley Hutchings and members of the Albion Band at 8pm. Admission is £10, concs £9. For more details and bookings, ring 01905 611427.
