A COMMUNITY centre will be bursting with prizes, free newspapers and plenty of chat in an Evening News extravaganza.
Residents are being invited to drop in for a cuppa, catch up on gossip and meet their local reporter, councillors and vicar at the Ronkswood centre, Worcester on Tuesday.
Anyone with a community story they'd like to see in the newspaper, or wanting to find out what's on their doorstep, can come to the launch of the new coffee morning at the Canterbury road site.
"The centre is bursting to the seams with children's activities, so we'd like to show what we can offer the kids and see what we can offer for adults in the area," said centre worker, Kate Little.
Reporter Alex Earnshaw said he hoped for a good community turnout.
The event runs from 9.30am to noon.
