Evesham and District Airgun League
PRELIMINARY round mat-ches in the Harvey Hunt Cup provided success for the Lygon Arms and Badsey RBL, while a re-shoot is needed after a thrilling clash between Stanton Club and Offenham RBL.
The teams were level at 285-all after Steph Anderson's 25 second half forced a draw. Three players hit 49 on a night of excellent shooting with Offen-ham's Paul Lewis and Stanton duo Ian Harwood and Jackie Laming sharing the top honours.
It was almost as tight at Badsey Rec where just three shots separated the neighbours with the hosts running out narrow winners. Ashley Green high scored for the hosts with 47, while Gra-ham Sams shot 48 for the Legion.
Nine points separated the Lygon and Wickhamford SSC with John Walker notching up 48 for the winners and Andy Beadle 46 for the visiting side.
