GOALKEEPER David Cli-fton again proved the match winner as Pershore High School's Under-14s defeated Bishop Perowne in the first round of the District Cup.
Clifton stepped forward in a penalty shoot-out to fire in in his side's sixth spot-kick and then moved back between the sticks to save the next penalty and ensure his side made thrilling progress.
Earlier in the tie, Pershore had trailed 2-0 and showed great team spirit to level through James Alexander and Glen Jones to take the match into overtime.
No further goals were scored, leaving Clifton to make his mark both in and out of the nets.
