SECOND round ties in the Tewkesbury Sports Knockout Cup failed to produce any surprises.

The closest to an upset came at Mountinneers where the home side won through on penalties after sharing six goals with Ship-ston Excelsior.

A Mark Payne hat-trick helped Moreton Wanderers defeat Deff-ord and Besford, while Fowler (2), Christian and Diamond were among Bredon's scorers in a comfortable six-goal defeat of Bengeworth United.

First division Champions Upton Snodsbury hit eight past Ink-berrow with McLean (3) and Spencer(2) on target. Offenham continue to adapt well to life in the top flight as Brain(2), Sollis and Burrows were on target against the Bear.

An own goal and a Bennett effort gave Red Horse the Division Two points at Broadway, while in the third division Tewkesbury Town overcame Moreton with goals from Kirby, Mariner, Smith and Sollis.

Hampton WMC continue to lead the way in the fourth division after a six-goal win over Riverside with the prolific Redding hitting a treble.
