LIGHT winds greeted Eve-sham Sailing Club for the return leg of their annual challenge at Arden SC.
It may have been only a small visiting team but their quality in light winds is legendary among Arden members, who were seeking to hold on to their first leg advantage.
The two British Moths helmed by Ian Haywood and John Pickford were extremely quick, fortunately for Arden the Mirr-ors of Evesham were no match for the wind conditions.
This enabled home boats to pack the middle order and win the team competition and regain the trophy after an absence of three years.
Results - Individual: 1 Ian Haywood - British Moth (Evesham); Andrew Potts - Solo (Arden); 3 John Pickford - British Moth (Evesham); 4 Nial Campbell - Enterprise (Arden).
