TWO Evesham-based groups celebrated after receiving Wych-avon community cash grants.
Holiday Playsch-emes, based at Wallace House Community Centre, and the Opengate Toy Library each received £500 under the awards scheme.
The playschemes group runs a programme of acti-vities, focused on the environment and recycling, for children aged five to 12 during school holidays.
Its grant will help pay for skills work-shops.
The toy library provides a service of toy and play equipment lending to children in Evesham.
It will use its grant money for renting premises. Opengate is open from 9.30am till 12noon on Mondays during term times only.
