A meeting was held on September 9 at St Mary's Church Hall when members were told of a boot sale and other donations amounting to £104.40 for group funds.
Dr Stephen O'Hickey told members to be prepared for winter by making sure they keep as fit and healthy as possible and have the flu jab.

On Monday, September 15, a meeting was held at Bilford Court, Worcester, when there were three speakers. Allison Rex, from the Primary Care Trust, spoke about the Physical Activity Leader training course, run by Age Concern. Cat Hayward, training officer for Age Concern, explained the details of the course.
Pulmonary nurse Elaine Bevan Smith told how she is helping to set up a training course at University College, Worcester, to enlighten GPs, physiotherapists and community nurses on how to improve services for people with lung problems.
