CYCLING: Chris Morris retained his hill climb championship title on the 1.25-mile rise from Shelsley Beauchamp to Abberley.
The Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club rider stormed up the slopes to finish in five minutes 25 seconds.
Morris had a 20-second winning margin over Ceri Brown in 5-45, followed by Dave Wood who clocked 6-14 for third place.
Other times: Rob Cole 6-22, Richard Pedersen 7-57, Mike Nicol 8-19.
Steve Burns powered home in 22-06 to finish fifth in the Wrekinsport CC 10-mile time trial at Newport on Saturday.
In near-perfect conditions, Ian Smith was sixth in 22-16.
Cole had a solid ride in the VTTA 10-mile time trial at Wythall, finishing in 25-01 behind winner Stuart Dangerfield, of Camel Valley C and TC, in 19-24.
Tony Richardson was fastest home in the Leamington C and AC 10-mile time trial at Princethorpe on Sunday in 23-06.
Mick Gray clocked 27-43 and the winner was Richard Bradley, of Stourbridge CC, in 20-48.
