Why are villages around Evesham bothering to apply for traffic calming measures when the measures already in force in villages such as Honeybourne are blatantly ignored.
Cow Honeybourne has a weight limit of 7.5 tonnes but HGV lorries and tankers are daily driven through the village.
This is particularly dangerous at school times since the road is narrow and usually has parked cars. None of this matters to drivers who find it essential to take the shortest route irrespective of the law.
Mr Bernard McGraghan, High Stree, Honeybourne.
