TWO bright Trinity High School pupils have just been accepted into the academy for gifted and talented youth at the University of Warwick.
After being assessed, James McWilliams and Laura Phillips, both 14, showed an academic ability in the top five per cent of the population and can now take part in a range of activities and workshops at the university.
Trinity is the first high school in Redditch to have pupils accepted into the prestigious project for high achievers and hopes more students will be applying to the academy soon.
Headteacher Marion Barton said: "We are delighted the calibre of these two students has been recognised and I'm confident more of our very able students will be joining them soon."
