AT the September meeting held at the home of Mrs June Escott, members enjoyed listening to James Holloway, the Conservative agent for Stratford.
He talked of his experiences in visiting Romania as a representative of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy to train the centre right political party, called PNCTD.
He also gave an insight into the development of the political system and how life has changed for the Romanian people.
Rosemary Slaughter won the raffle.
At the next meeting, members will be entertained by an evening of clairvoyance.
