FOUR major competitions have reached their climax at Bromsgrove Golf Club.
Neil Batson defeated Pete Fox to land the Morris Bowl while David Thompson secured victory against Jeff Banfield on the 18th hole in the Slideslow Cup.
Liz Stirling beat Liz Newton in the Ann Morris Bowl and Joan Banner and Chris Steel claimed the
inaugural Walton Shield, beating Judy Taylor and John Foster.
In the ladies medal competition, Lynn Allen won the Club Silver Division with a net 63 score. Janet Funa won the Club Bronze Division with a net 63. Belinda Bloomfield won the Club Others with a net 58.
The seniors mixed team retained the Interclub Shield despite losing in the second leg to Ombersley six and a half to three and a half. Their 8-2 first leg victory was enough to seal victory.
