ANDY Grice took a minute and a half off the course record when winning the North Worcestershire Multi-Terrain eight-mile race.

The Amazing Feet runner completed the event through the Waseley and Lickey Hills in 52 minutes 29 seconds.

Promoted by Bromsgrove and Redditch Athletics Club, a field of 150 tackled the tough course last Sunday, the fourth and final event on the Midlands multi-terrain series calendar.

Paul Waby (Dudley and Stourbridge) was second and first veteran in 55mins and was closely followed by Carl Harris (Halesowen) in 55mins 11secs.

Dave Kesterton was the first Bromsgrove and Redditch runner home in fifth place in a time of 55mins 52secs.

Bromsgrove and Redditch were the first team with Kesterton, Paul Atkins and Dave Cleverley scoring.

Other B and R runners were John Manley (26th, 1.02.53); Phil Anderson (28th, 1.03.20); Peter Hawcroft, (34th, 1.04.36); Steve James (59th, 1.07.08); Steve Bach (64th, 1.08.07); Andy Millington (73rd, 1.10.02); Ann Stuart (75th, 1.10.27); Dave Whipp (83rd, 1.12.10).

Katie O'Byrne won the senior women's multi-terrain series and Roger Beacham won the V60s.
