HERE'S a film that is definitely one for the boys. Seeing that George Clooney was in it, I reckoned it was one for the girls. I was mistaken.

The gorgeous George is mean but not moody, has too many tattoos even for a bit of rough, and he's sitting down in every scene.

Other disappointments centred on the use of the words "hilarious" and 'funniest comedy' on the film cover. I didn't laugh once, and I wasn't very interested in the plot.

Small-time thief Cosimo (Luis Guzman) is given the details of a perfect crime from a lifer while in prison. As he is stuck inside, he needs to find someone to take the blame for his petty crime, thereby freeing him to pull off his masterpiece of a job.

It soon goes completely wrong and five men - George, William H Macy, Isaiah Washington, Sam Rockwell and Michael Jeter, who are usually found in much better films, find themselves practising breaking into a safe.

One is a prize boxer and another has a small baby to look after. Apart from that, they're all interchangeable and as exciting as old bread.
