YOUNG swimmers dived in at the deep end to take part in an exciting swimming gala.
Members from the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from all across the town invaded the Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre, in Briar Mill, for the fun-fuelled event on Saturday, September 27.
Girls aged five to18 took part in many front crawl, back crawl and breast stroke races, finally culminating with a cannon relay.
Kirsten Farrell is the young leader for 6th Droitwich Brownies and 2nd Droitwich Rainbows.
She said: "Overall the swimming gala was thoroughly enjoyable, if not rather noisy, for both the participating girls and their spectating parents!
"At the end of all the hard work, the girls had the chance to have a fun swim which really topped off the whole evening," Kirsten added.
