FUN loving Finstall tots dressed up as their favourite literary characters to celebrate National Book Week.
Youngsters at Finstall First School enjoyed a week of reading-related activities, which culminated last Friday with all the pupils dressing up as their favourite characters.
Popular costumes included Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Harry Potter and Robin Hood.
Reception class teaching assistant Liz Cook said: "The children really enjoyed all the activities during National Book Week and the costumes on Friday were wonderful.
"Some of the parents put in a great deal of effort to dress their children up."
