BARNT Green Spartak completed the double over Midland Combination division one title favourites Knowle with a 3-1 success.
Spartak, 2-1 winners at Knowle three weeks ago, got off to the worst possible start against last season's division two champions when Michael Hollis gave the visitors the lead on two minutes.
But GJ Singh's side hit back within eight minutes when a passing move ended with Simon Brown firing a 30-yard shot into the top corner.
Asfar Ali was unlucky to see his 25-yard shot cannon of the crossbar as Spartak put Knowle under intense pressure.
Spartak were on top in the second half as Knowle struggled to put their hosts under any pressure and it was no shock when captain Zahoor Suliman beat David Cox in the Knowle goal with a angled drive 20 minutes from time.
Shaid Akbar came off the bench to extend Spartak's lead with ten minutes left when he beat Cox with a curling shot from 18 yards.
