AS part of celebrations for Black History Month, the Palace Theatre hosts the award-winning Love and Marriage and New York City on Friday and Saturday.

Described as 'funny, moving, romantic and endearing', the show tells the tale of four Jamaicans searching for happiness and fulfilment in Manhattan - neurotic stockbroker Jessica, unemployed banker Theo, fashion model Natalie and photographer Damian.

The David Heron production features four top quality Jamaican actors direct from appearing in sell-out shows in America, including the author of the piece.

Both shows begin at 7.30pm and tickets are priced £12 (£10 discount rate, £8 reddicard) from 65203 or palace.bookings@redditchbc.gov.uk

TV star Rustie Lee gives a demonstration of Caribbean Cookery before the show in the auditorium at 6pm (included in ticket price) on the Saturday evening only.
