FECKENHAM'S amazing eight straight wins came to an abrupt end on the weekend after being thumped 4-1 by Dudley Sports.
Dudley stunned the Millers with two quick goals before Stuart Douglas got a goal back for the visitors before half time.
And Lee Adams team's pressure told when hitman Brian Powell was dragged down in the box and a penalty was awarded.
But Powell, Feckenham's regular spot-kick taker, needed treatment and was sidelined so Mark Davis stepped up but could not make it count and Dudley went on to score two more.
"The penalty miss really knocked the stuffing out of us," admitted Feckenham manager Lee Adams.
"The scoreline could have been much worse - we were poor as a defensive unit and lacked ideas up front."
The Millers boss turns his attention to cup action tonight (K0 7.45pm) as his team take on Midland Combination Division One high-flyers Littleton in the first round of the Smedley Crooke Memorial Cup.
Feckenham do have home advantage - at the Valley - because Littleton do not have any floodlights.
Adams said: "We played them in a friendly and just beat them 3-2 so they're not a bad team. I just hope that Saturday was a blip and we continue our good form."
After tonight's clash Feckenham will be at home to bottom of the table Southam on Saturday.
