AN elderly woman was duped into letting two men into her home after they claimed they needed to work on her water tank.
The men went to the 82 year old's flat in Astwood Bank and said they were fitting a washing machine in the flat above and needed to drain her tank.
They then went into her kitchen and turned on the taps. It is believed they were disturbed by a neighbour and they left empty handed.
Police are warning people in case they try again in another area.
