YOUNGSTERS from two Malvern colleges will take centre stage this evening - as they put on a performance of two Shakespeare plays.
A group of about 30 youngsters from Malvern College, on College Road, will perform Macbeth, a tragedy about the lust for power, while about 30 pupils from Malvern Girls' College, on Avenue Road, will take on Shakespeare's romantic comedy As You Like It.
The event is part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival, a national initiative bridging education and the arts, with 350 schools and more than 10,000 young actors performing their own half-hour productions of the Bard's plays.
The performance will take place at the Festival Theatre on Grange Road in Malvern at 7pm, with tickets costing £6.50. Information: 01684 892277.
