PARAMEDICS from Hereford and Worcester Ambulance Service have been brushing up on their ball skills to take part in a charity football match in Dundee this weekend.

Eight paramedics from the service will be making the trip north for the match on Saturday, when they will be competing against 44 ambulance services from across the country.

The team has been practising for the past six months on the astro-turf pitch at the YMCA in Worcester's Henwick Road.

They have been taking part in the event, held in the town of the winning team, since 1991. Money raised will go to a hospital in Dundee.
