THE Malvern RFC Youth Development Section has launched its new website thanks to the generous services of the website design team at the Newsquest Digital Media department.

The new website is an electronic version of the successful in-house newsletter Malvern Rugby Post that has been produced by the Malvern youth rugby outfit for its junior members, local schools and libraries for the past six years.

The new website replaces the home grown website that has been hosted by OSP giant Yahoo for the last six years and it is expected to be even more popular with the Malvern junior rugby players as it is much easier to navigate and download features, thanks to the state of the art server at the Newsquest offices in Worcester, where the website is being hosted.

When visitors visit the new website on www.malvernrugbypost.co.uk they will find it easier and quicker to access current and archived news stories and match reports. They will also be able to download the YDS fixture list and membership form as well as to view a new gallery of photographs that feature the junior players and teams of the Malvern RFC YDS.

Gary Tolley, the chairman of youth rugby at Malvern RFC, said: "The Newsquest Digital Media department were extremely helpful and listened to our requirements. They have provided an excellent shop window that will promote the youth development section to new players and adult helpers."

Initially the squad coaches will manage the new website but the long term plan is for a young person to become the webmaster and encourage other players to become weekly journalists and contribute match reports, features as well as photos of their teams.
