NURSERY owner Lady Christine Skelmersdale will deliver a memorial lecture for the Wyche and Colwall Horticultural Society.
Lady Skelmersdale, owner of the Broadleigh Gardens in Somerset, will give a talk on creative gardening with bulbs in honour of the late Percy Picton from 7pm on Monday at Colwall Village Hall.
The lecture is the group's fundraising event to help students at Pershore College - tickets for the event cost £6, available on the door or on 01684 566576.
Meanwhile, the Worcestershire Group of the National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens is also holding its annual Ron Sidwell Lecture in conjunction with the Royal Horticultural Society.
The speaker is Fergus Garrett, head gardener at Great Dixter, and the event is on Tuesday, October 14, at 7.30pm at the Frank Parkinson Centre, Pershore College. For tickets ring 01386 554609 or 01562 777014.
