The Downs School in Colwall is having an open morning tomorrow (Saturday).

The school is also opening its new nursery at 11.30am.

Parents will be able to look around the nursery and speak to members of staff about it between 10am and 1pm.

Sixty balloons will be released to represent the sixty children already registered at the nursery, a giant badger will be meeting the children and visitors will get the chance to see the school's steam railway in action.

Head Alastair Ramsay said: "I am extremely pleased with the new nursery. So far we have had a 100 per cent acceptance record from parents who have visited."
