LEDBURY'S Seven Stars pub, nearly destroyed by fire in 2001, is to reopen at the end of October with a new landlord and landlady.
Ian and Sharon Stone will take over the 16th Century pub, in The Homend, following its £1 million restoration by its owner, Punch Pub Company.
The couple have more than 18 years' experience in the trade, having previously run bars in Spain and a Welsh holiday camp. They hope to reinstate the Seven Stars at the heart of the community.
"This is a very exciting new venture for us and the people of Ledbury," said Mr Stone.
