A CLAY pigeon shoot held by the Upton branch of the NSPCC raised £7,700 for the charity.
The event was held at Severn End House, in Hanley Castle, on September 13, and included a hog roast and auction.
The South Worcestershire Shooting School ran the pigeon shoot while local businesses donated prizes for the auction.
Committee member Amanda Barrell said: "The committee is enormously grateful for all the local support we received and the time and effort everyone put in."
